This hike was AMAZING! For an intermediate hiker I didn’t find it too strenuous but the ascent does make you sweat and bump your heart rate up in a comfortable way. The footing is fantastic. The woods are beautiful with all the white birch and the views were to die for!!!!!!! Not buggy for me and the trail was pretty dry considering all the rain NH just had. My only whine about this hike is how popular it was. I can’t imagine doing this on a weekend or holiday as mid day Friday I must’ve seen over a dozen groups of people. Great intro hike for new hikers, kids, and hiking dogs.

Nice easy hike. Views from the summit were excellent. The downside being the parking lot is busy, very busy. The trail was crowded with people unfamiliar with hiking etiquette. Leaf peeping season definatly brought out the people and this being such an easy trail everyone went there
