    Steep uphill climbing many rocks and some slick rocks, even a ladder about 3/4 of the way up. Beautiful views at the top.

Gentle upslope in Gregory canyon gets steeper up ranger trail to green mountain peak. Continue on for the most direct path back. Lots of forking trails to wander down other days.
