We arrived at the trail head at 9:15. There were only a few cars before us. The view was beautiful while we hiked up. In the distance, there were lots of larches. The good thing about this trail is that there aren’t many hikers even on weekends. At times we felt as if we were the only people there. The trail is well maintained but no restroom at trail head. If you are going to Jester Mountain, be sure to watch for the sign at one intersection because it is easy to miss.
