Great day with Tim and Larry after H4M weekend. Left the big house at 5:40 and got to the Elk Lake parking lot at 6:30. Hiked up the Macomb herd path / Macomb slide. Awesome views all day from the slide, Macomb, South Dix, Grace, Hough and Dix. Perfect weather. 60s with cool breezes at elevation. 12.5 hours of hiking; finished at 7:30 PM and had a LONG drive back to NJ (Larry drove) and those poor boys had to continue on to PA. Great day in the mountains!
