    Lots of downed logs and trees so we had to bushwhack. We made it to Gilpin lake and pass and it was a long tiring hike back to the TH. Great hike! Lots of fun w the girls. Beautiful fall weather.

    Trail in good condition. 1 12” tree down after getting on 1161 from 1151 towards Gilpin Lake. Beautiful views and fall colors.
