This is a beautiful trail. Lots to look at. It is quite steep. I’d say moderate to difficult. There are lots of nice resting places along the ascent. The loop around the ridge provides lovely views in clear weather. Bring poles to save your knees on the way down.

Moderate is in the eye of the beholder. I found the hike to be VERY steep. We had an early start...100% trail ownership which is always extra nice. We were in heavy fog so the views were peak-a-boo. Will I do this hike again? Yes. The tree's are wonderful.
