Mt Adams - south route 7/18/2015
Left camp at 5 am. Reached summit at 12:20pm. Stayed at the top for about 20 min. Back at camp at 4 pm. Glissade a good portion of the decent.
Crampons and ice axe needed. Without ice axe you can not glissade. Crampons are safer then micro spikes for going up steep sections . I had ice axe and micro spikes.
Beautiful mountain. Very doable in a day but ideally camp the night before and after. Drive after the hike is tough.
Would be happy to do this track again
