Devil’s head is a technical and challenging scramble. Long approach to the trailhead, total of about two hours of off roading to where I parked my truck at sign 39. The hike itself was over 16 km, and required crossing the river 3 times. The incline was steep all the way to the ridge, and the ridge walk to the summit was long but well worth it. I would only recommend this trail to experienced scramble. Be sure to do your homework to determine if this one is for you.
