In general if you only looking for glacier France you can be back from Glacier France view point which about 20 mins hike from Italiano, pass the view point this trail will become rocky

Truly amazing hike and very hard. Solid elevation profile, 3300 feet of climbing (the descent is tough/ poles help!). This RT time includes an hour or so at the top; and other stops, total hike time closer to 8 hours.

This was the last leg of our W trek and it did not disappoint. We hiked into the teeth of 60mph wind gusts over very rugged terrain. The views of the icebergs floating in Lago Grey were very cool!

Incredible hike, so many different environment condensed in 8 days of intense and rewarding hiking. Anyone who wants to visit and spend some good days of hiking in Patagonia should do the O circuit!

Disappointing if you don't make it to lake/viewpoint. Didn't have enough time to hike the last mile or so up the boulder and Cree field to lake. Boring uphill hike with minimal views.
