Went off piste to start with which was a bit scratchy in parts as overgrown. The main trail is SO much easier. Places to take fresh spring water from the taps and also cool off in the river. Watch out for horse flies. Route v popular with horse riders so plenty of pop around for the foes. The cafe in Rocca is tiny and I was there too early to try their fare but it looks like it would be limited choice. Beautiful village in a time warp. Met two Italians with holiday homes there and one old lady who had lived there for 30 years. She had a beautiful smile.
