Spooner Lake is a lake inside of Lake Tahoe Basin Management Unit it can be accessed via Spooner Summit Trailhead on HWY 50 or from the State Park parking (fee).
The trail meanders along the lake shore with easy access points for water. There is a wooden walkway along the southern part of the lake (restricted to hikers only). There are several benches around the lake to take in the wonderful views.
