Cascada Cola de Caballo Loop via Senda de Los Cazadores and Senda a la Cola de Caballo
We completed this hike a few years ago. The first segment up the hillside was difficult and somewhat dangerous given the time of year. Exhausted at the viewing deck located on the rim of the canyon, we proceeded to hike further into the park all the way to the famous waterfall. The trail remained fairly level and the view was spectacular. After photos at the waterfall, we walked peacefully back long the canyon floor trail visiting more waterfalls. They park was not over run with tourists during our June visit. I suspect the European holiday months of July and August might change the experience a bit, but it’s a big park.
