No permits are required for hiking. Entry to the park is free and unregulated. Parking is also free
Dogs must remain on-leash in the park, except in the dog park area. Rangers patrol the park and will ticket off-leash dog owners. The Paw Point dog park area requires a fee and registration. It includes a fenced off section of the lake that dogs can go into.
