Did this hike with about 90 pounds on my back. I hiked an additional 9.4 miles because I had to turn back for instant mash potatoes at the 4.7 mark and then the full 9.2 miles with the full pack totaling out at 18.6 miles from start of day at 6:40am to 4:00 pm. Turns out the packer was going to be up at camp later this hitch with the food so I didn’t have to do it. Thankfully we had already cleared, brushed, and tread this section so it was lovely sights all around and easier walking. Still not a bright idea and sad I left the potatoes.

    Trapper Peak
For sure, it is not easy but the views are well worth the effort! Much easier on the way down!

    Spot Mountain
This is a challenging hike to Spot Mountain Lookout. Despite its challenge, the best views are in the last couple miles, which makes the first few hours kind of a slog. But being able to make it to the lookout feels great.

    Little Rock Creek
Awesome hike today. With all the smoke this was a perfect hike to still be able to see the lake and surrounding mountains. Only saw one backpacker camping at Little Rock Creek Lake with his dog and one hiker that went couple miles in and back out. Views were outstanding. Parked car at the 13201 sign post and walked road to trail head.

Fun drive. Good campsites. Burnt knob side trip is a lot of fun.
