Best views are at the beginning and end. Hardly saw any people. It was a pretty tough day with lots of up and down. Would make a decent overnight if carrying gear.

One of my favorite hikes in the Escalante area. Did the trail north to south. 58 total water crossings, ranging from ankle deep to halfway up the thigh. Northern half of the trail had a lot of blowdowns and overgrowth to deal with, but that can be expected since most people only do the southern half. Amazing scenery and great variety over the course of the 9.2 miles.

It’s just an easy 1 mile loop, but today, February 16, it was covered in about 3 feet of snow. No one has been down there since it snowed, since the road just got opened up. I snowshoed Using Gaia to stay on the trail. It was glorious, incredible vistas!

Mostly improved roads until Road Draw, where there are enough boulders and loose dirt to make things interesting. Great views. Nice little route if you’re already in the area but not a destination ride.

Run this ride clockwise. Easy to Intermediate except at washout. 80 miles. Rocky trail in some areas. Lunch at Enterprise Reservoir and bathrooms.

Thunder mountain downhill extremely scenic. Wish I would have had a GoPro. Trail loose with many small rocks. Cassidy less scenic, a grunt to the top. Brayton view point pretty. Paved path back to vehicle.

Beautiful hike that wasn’t too long. If it wasn’t for the vehicle noise this might be the best trail ever!

It’s an OK hike. It’s worth doing if you’re already at Diamond Point but it’s nothing special unless you love botany, in which case I recommend you visit the dead Bristlecone pine. This hike also has some unique views but it’s nothing too special. There is an ironic sign about a lack of forest fires standing by a charred tree.

Honestly, a super chill trail to begin backpacking if you have little experience. We went in May and it was warm during the day and cool at night. I would definitely not love to do this hike in the summer sun.

This is an amazing overnight backpacking trail. You could do it as a loop but we chose to shuttle. Lots of fun stuff to see and tons of small waterfalls and fun camping spots. The route we took could be much shorter if you rappel down rattlesnake waterfall.

Back way off SR-12 to the edge of Bryce Canyon Park. Killer view at the end. Bigger trucks won’t make the last part. My Tacoma squeezed thru.

Beautiful short hike to take when in route from Bryce de Zion. Amazing views, benches to rest along the way, and beautiful scenery 360. The switchbacks at the beginning are somewhat steep and narrow but doable Even for a beginner. Walkingstick absolutely helps!

Of the last 60 hikes in Southern Utah this the most boring
It’s july1 a week ago might gave it 3 cause flowers at peak or late fall with colour changing
Aside from cows, there patties farmers broken plastic pipes in atv trails it was ok

The two lakes are nice; lots of birds and their songs and basically when not open pasture it’s popular boring

Very pleasant environment. The altitude makes it comfortably cooler than in St. George.
Mostly easy trails that are paved and the Santa Clara River is relaxing to listen to.

Awesome bike/hike just outside of Bryce national Park. mountain biking with some expert steep switchbacks sections on west end of the trail. Beautiful hiking.
