Lots to see and do out here. Just be wary of folks that have little to no grasp of firearms safety. Once you’re away from the main target shooting area things quiet down considerably. Lots of interesting rock formations abound and many abandoned mining prospects with artifacts dating back to late 19th century. Please leave artifacts where you find them so others may enjoy in the future

Snoqualmie Forest via Fuller Mountain Trail
An abandoned trail on private forest land. A $10 permit is required from Campbell Global. If gates are open, don't drive through without a motorized permit and gate key. Gates may be locked unannounced. We were mostly able to find and stay on the trail. Footing was loose and rocky in places, seeing your footing under the ferns was difficult. The trail seemed to disappear at the end of the last switchback, we wandered around, found the summit (no view) and the east facing cliffs (very nice view). This hike took longer than anticipated and was more difficult than expected, due to the condition of the trail. We enjoyed the bush-whacking, others may not. Be prepared for some route finding and be ready to get slightly lost. We did some minor brushing out with loppers and saw, and put up a some flagging.

North Fork Snoqualmie River - NF-57
This was a chill route through the forest, but the potholes are almost completely unbearable. Should be fine for any decent 4WD vehicle with higher ground clearance. There’s a spot to reach the river just a few miles ahead on the same road, but I gave up after 1.5 hours of bouncing around potholes and really became annoyed at how many more I would encounter on the way back. I plan to return after I do some suspension work and install some larger tires.

Ton of potholes. Not really much of a view up top. Most side roads are blocked by private gates.

    Hancock’s Comb (5/16/21)
We pushed bikes up 7miles and then stashed them due to snow on the road. We snowshoed to the final pitch. Seeing as how the South Face was free of snow, we did the class four scramble climb in loose garbage rock. A rope would have been nice for my partner at times for when she was unsure of the footing. We descended the Northwest ridge in steep ass snow because there were trees the whole way to provide something to belay us. We were glad to not have to down climb the way we went up.

    Lake Hancock gravel ride
This was a good gravel bike ride back past Lake Hancock. A few cars on a Saturday but not too crowded.
