75 yards to almost to about 1/2 way to the monument is very dangerous.

Part of horseback ride out to was on side of mountain with single trail and mountain falling off and big rocks (as big as football and basketball) falling off under horses feet with dirt. No safe on this part. It was beautiful once you got through the bad part but the problem was you have to turn and go back and it was worse going back. Need to find another way in to monument

Trail through pines between Schoolhouse Park & Buffalo Park not marked accurately on map -is further east than map. Also hard to find from Buffalo Park-lots of slash from Aspen Project.

Exploring from Hunter Campground to 7 Brothers Trail as far as Buffalo Park; then a return via Soldier Park Rd, across ditch and then a nice back trail through the woods back to the campground. There is a nice camping area where the motorized trail ends at entrance to Buffalo Pk; trees, a little grazing and nice creek w fishing.

Worth the hike. Bring your bathing suit. Refreshing! Go with an experienced person, who knows where to slide. Don’t use the slide during high water.

The northern Bighorn Mountains are having a fun snow year! Both Meadowlark & Antelope Butte are doing really well. Snow predicted for tomorrow.

Really fun look around a beautiful area. The weather is perfect, and the company is convivial. The Scouts run ahead in a gear that is a faint memory. Everyone is in a great mood!

Easy hike except for a few snowy sections, but no post-holing as the path was well packed. There are rangers at both ends to answer questions. Even though none of the local indigenous people have claimed knowledge or history of the medicine wheel, they still hold ceremonies there. We were told that a ceremony was held just before we arrived and that would have been interesting to see. There are 360 degree views from the top and it was quite cool and breezy up there.
